Too many people end up in lives headed in the wrong direction, all for lack of a role model, mentor, or guidance showing how to face challenges and be successful. It often starts in a failure to thrive in school and ends in delinquency, addiction, and even death. But this is a problem that can be solved, especially by someone who has already faced those same obstacles and learned what it takes to achieve success.
THE PROBLEM
Everyone faces obstacles to realizing their highest potential. Many young people need mentors and principles for success to help them “break the trap.”
THE SOLUTION
A graphic novel cartoon and middle school curriculum where success principles are brought to life by in engaging stories that young people find relevant and relatable.
THE PLAN
Team GRS is asking for support to pilot the program in three inner-city schools in the fall of 2019, giving underserved communities much needed resources.
